Chlorinated Rubber

Chlorinated Rubber

Chlorinated Rubber can be interchanged to meet desired viscosity of finished product. It can be used in most fields of Protective Coating Technology as Primers, Intermediate Coatings and Top Coats. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor industrial applications, including underwater.

Main Properties:

  • Physical drying mechanism.
  • Film formation by solvent evaporation.
  • Acids, Alkalis and various chemical resistance.
  • Compatible with various resins and plasticizers.
  • Good adhesion on various substrates.
  • Soluble in many commonly used solvents.

Main Advantages:

  • Single pack formulations.
  • Excellent recoataibility after ageing.
  • Brush, roller, dipping, flow coating, airless spray.
  • Usable under high humidity/low temp. conditions.
  • Can be used in anticorrosive, antifouling, fire retardant paints.
  • Long storage life in closed containers.
  • Also used in printing ink and adhesives.
